Motif lab: selectivity without disconnection
AT-0167 → AT-0174. Three to eight coupled variables, one local actuator, identity read on one node and address read on another. The easy way to look selective is to cut identity loose from everything. That is the first thing this lab rejects.
What is being tested
A useful mechanism cannot protect identity simply by disconnecting identity from everything. It has to remain coupled and still respond differently for a structural reason.
Internal toy benchmark: with identity left dynamically disconnected from the actuator, selectivity scores are unbounded and meaningless — those motifs are rejected. Requiring both the identity and the address sector to be reachable from the actuator, and forcing every active coupling magnitude above a floor, a minority of motifs still show high address controllability with much smaller identity controllability. Status: CANDIDATE STRUCTURAL SELECTIVITY IN TOY MODEL until AT-0170 … AT-0174 survive.
